Harry W. Pickup, Jr. |
 Harry W. Pickup, Jr., only son of godly parents, has preached more than six decades
with local works in nine cities, three months in Australia, and many gospel meetings annually. Each summer in recent
years he and his wife, Joella, have hosted a special study at Temple Terrace. Designed primarily for young adult
Christians to study with a group of experienced preachers. These studies have led to "schools" in Maine,
England, Scotland and Ethiopia. Always
interested in the relationships among brethren and fiercely dedicated to God's word, he helped plan and participated
in The Arlington Meeting and published The Fellowship of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Those privileged to know him personally
see and appreciate his commitment to the truth, his willingness to defend his teaching, his love for others and
his determination to deal fairly and honorably with everyone. Totally serious in the pulpit, Harry is known and
loved for his humor and storytelling in private. |
