God Loves All of Us
“Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” - Psa 139:16
Before the foundation of the world God said I’m going to create (put your name here) in my image. He didn’t do it to entertain himself or to have something to rule over, he did it to give life and then give love to the life he created, because he is love. God knew many of us would not love him back but he gives time for change.
God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. (Acts 17:25-27)
We are special to him. I struggle with that because I know how flawed of a human that I am. But to God I am precious and valuable and so are you and so are the lost blind souls out there in the world.
The very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. - Lk 12:7
He loves us ALL!
God’s love for us infuriates Satan - he has hated us since the beginning because we have the spirit of God in us. His mission is to kill. He is hunting for our souls.
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. - 1 Pet 5:8
Satan isn’t just prowling – he is right in our face! Sadly people are running straight to him and straight into hell.
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience - among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of the world. - Eph 2:1-3
Now those of us who have put on Christ in baptism and are filled with the Holy Spirit and not of this world must get activated! Let’s snatch as many of God’s created souls as we can while we still have time.
Soldiers of Christ arise!
